About Me:: I am the one and only original Trainreck! Growing up a motherless child gave me in-site into the blues early on. Hence, I've been playing blues music for a long time. Like any self loathing, white, suburban, punk kid i began with(as a) rock and roll/heavy metal (drummer). Back in the day i could really pound em hard and heavy. Now though i'm as layed back as good ol' Sam Car.....NOT! Naw, i'm still poundin' 'em as hard as ever but for the last nearly 20yrs. its been all blues. I actually got my start in playing blues music, playing drums with Dooley Wilson (Henry & June, Boogaloosa Prayer) way back in the day as a raw and nasty two piece, Years before the White Stripes, Gravel Road, Trainreck etc. Since 2001 or so I've played steadily with K.M. Williams generally undoer the blues duo name of TRAINRECK. Releasing four cds together, traveling and playing a bunch, breaking many bones, shedding much blood and now currently working on our fifth CD together, K.M. and i are a kindred tandum..... And yea, the goatherd picture is one of my favorites because it kinda defines the highlights of the '08 JJF for me; seeing you and K.M, and getting to play JL's lowebow du jour, albeit unplugged and sans slide. COUNTS though!
