What's up with LiveBluesWorld Chat
Hi all
Well, as many of you now know, last week we had an upgrade to our Chat room, and it's been nothing short of a disaster. I was holding out hope that things would improve, but I have no word from the powers that be that a fix is on the way.
We had a great chat community here, and I'm not going to just let it whiter away.
So first off...I'm sorry this has happened. I know that chat is a big part of our community, and I'm as frustrated as you are with the change.
Having said that, I'm not working on finding a better chat solution to plug into the site. As a short term fix, I have put up a new Chat tab at the top of the page, which launches a new chat room that I hope will be better than what we had here.
It's an interim solution, and I hope you'll find that it at least allows everyone to come back in to LiveBluesWorld and reconnect with friends.
Over the coming days, I'll work on putting something even better in place, and will work to ensure it's a long term solution that will serve us all well.
If any has any suggestions or requests, just plug them into them comments below and we'll do our best.

yeah that right side chat was great you could see people as they signed on to the site and say hi to new people, also for me it was great because I think a lot of the new members saw my icon/pic and visited my page, it was great for meeting all the new members we would go to their page and welcome them.
Even the new chat that ning posted over the weekend was better than the one now, at least you could see who was online even if they didn't join the chat. No offence Eric I know your just trying to fix it what ning has messed up lol. Maybe if we all wrote ning and told them to give us the old chat back lol

You can get a free chatbox which you can also moderate and block IP addresses of spammers etc.

I know...I know. I don't know if we can get the old chat back. There is a groundswell building, but I'm not sure it will help.
So was it having chat in the right column that you liked the most? Was that what you meant by being able to see who is online?
I'm working on some possible solutions...stay tuned.

So we can't get the old chat back?
Nobody is coming on here now hardly and you can't see who is online here now.
The old chat worked just fine why did they mess with it.
Sorry I know your trying Eric, but they just killed this site like overnight,
and this fix is worst than what update put up, one of the best things was you could see who was online
whether then enter chat or not. That is how you meet new people.
Is there someone we can all write and ask them to put it back the way it was? I mean u could browse the pages and chat at the same time. There was nothing wrong with it before.
Like I alway say .. if it aint broke don't fix it.
