Chico Banks, A Real Blues Man

We have lost a wonderful cat and magnificent guitarist....a man who played his instrument with a smile on his face and joy in his heart,so few do these days, A light has gone out in Chicago,the shadows lengthen and our happiness is diminished but his beautiful shimmering runs and joyous laughter will echo forever in the ears of his friends and fans. It seems to me that when an artist that we know and love leaves us, the music and the joy and pain of that life is like a letter that we have read,of thoughts and dreams that we will treasure always...the words and deeds that were enclosed are with us, though the envelope has gone. Thanks for the music and the fun Chico,keep swinging brother, we'll hit together again one day.....
