An advance for Charlie's gig (on a bill with John Hammond) last night (April 13). The show hopefully went off without a hitch, but the interview is still interesting reading.

“In the beginning, I was just having fun,” Musselwhite said. “There was no doubt about that. I loved the blues, and I loved playing them. But I didn’t know I was going to have a career in music. It just seemed too remote. To have that has been as much a surprise to me as anyone.”
