Washington Co. gives Deep Blues Festival approval for noise & capacity
A public forum with plenty of protesters took two hours and two votes to finally approve the Deep Blues Festival at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The conditional use permit for the fairgrounds received a one year modification to eliminate the noise restrictions and increase the event capacity to 2,000 for the Deep Blues Festival.
We'll do everything we can to sell out those 2,000 tickets to support these bands and this music. All of the profits from the festival go to the bands. All of the profits from the pop and water concessions go to Breast Cancer Research.
45 bands from around the world will perform July 18-20, just outside Minneapolis/St Paul MN.

That's great news Chris. Congrats on getting past the gauntlet of protesters and convincing the council to approve the festival. Phew! It's going to be a heck of a weekend of music for sure.
