A few quick changes...a few more in the works
Well, LBW has been up and running now for a few days, and we're picking up just a little bit of steam. For those of you who came in early and started setting up your page, we're really glad you're here, and we're working on getting the word out so that we can really grow the LBW community.
We're also making a few changes to make the site a better experience. You'll notice we just took the ads down. That cost us a few bucks, but heck...we didn't like looking at them either. We'll be moving some things around now that we have more space on each page, and those ads won't muck up your personal pages either.
We're also opening up the home page blog. If you post something on your blog, it's going to appear on the home page blog. It doesn't matter what you write...it's going to show up. We're hoping this will help artists and fans promote the music that we're all interested in. To get us going, you can enjoy Chip's anti-work rant...I think he speaks for all of us. Thanks Chip.
There's more in the works, so keep coming back and help us spread the word. Post the LBW myspace badge on our myspace page, and if you're on facebook, you can put the LBW radio player and featured photos player on your profile page.
I'll open up a suggestion box in the forums this weekend, so that you can let me know what else we should do. In the meantime, feel free to post ideas on my wall, or just post 'em in the comments section here. This is your site now too, so let me know what you think. In the meantime, we'll keep bringing people over to the site to build up the community.
