1,000 Members!
Well...actually, we blew past 1,000 members earlier today....but I got to this blog post as quick as I could. 1,000 members is a big milestone for LiveBluesWorld. We're building a great online blues community here...artists, fans, promoters...folks who love the blues and want to talk about it, listen to it, and support it.
We're rapidly approaching the first anniversary of the launch of LiveBluesWorld...just a bit over a month away. And over this first year, we've been slowly growing this community, adding bits and pieces to the site over time to help everyone here share their music, ideas and passion for the blues.
And as we pass this first milestone, you can rest assured we're working even harder now to keep building this community into something unique. Something powerful. Something that can help promote the blues, share the music and help the music thrive and reach new fans.
Lots more to come as we continue to grow.
I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Mary Anne Norwood. Mary Anne joined the LiveBluesWorld team a few months ago, when we were much smaller, with one goal. 1,000 members by the end of 2008. Mary Anne, you knocked it out of the park, and we're just getting rolling.
