In 2001 I wrote a song and sang it to a local dj over the phone and it was broadcast on the #1 morning radio station in Baltimore. A CBS station. I even had guitar accompaniment by another dj at the station studio as I sang it. Then the next morning as I'm getting ready for work they played it again at the peak of the morning rush hour.
