Profile Information

About Me:: The Ten Foot Polecats are a Three piece (no Bass!) Electric Deep Punk Blues leaning toward the Gut Bucket North Mississippi Hill Country sound....and yes, we are from Massachusetts....go figure!

RECORDED MATERIAL:
Band was formed in mid 2007. Demo "Sterno Soup" was released in Jan 2008....a new CD is in the works with original tracks and some tasty covers. We have mixed about 11 songs and still in the writing process. Hopefully it will be released in late fall 2009! (we would love to hear from labels/record co's/distributors, etc!)

SPECIAL SHOWS/EVENTS:
Over the past 1-1/2 years we have had some GREAT shows. The Highlite so far was THE DEEP BLUES FESTIVAL in Mineeapolis July 15-19 2009. Outside of all the great artists at Deep Blues Fest, we have also played with such artists as: Scott H.Biram, Bob Margolin, Mississippi Gabe Carter, Sasquatch & the Sick-a-Billies, The Tokyo Tramps, The Goddamn Gallows, The Koffin Kats, Jon Short, Erin Harpe, Wicked Whiskey, Geezer Deluxe, The Beantown Boozehounds, The Tin Thistles, The Knuckledusters, and more. We have also played The Keene Music Festival in 08 & 09.

OUTSIDE NEW ENGLAND :
We have played at these clubs - Otto's Shrunken Head (NYC), Reggie's Music Joint (Chicago), Palmer's Bar(Minneapolis), Bela Dubby (Cleveland), The Axe & Fiddle (Cottage Grove OR), The Skylark Cafe (Seattle), Eske's Brew Pub (Taos NM)...looking forward to expanding on that in 2010!
