Finally got the last bits done to remaining songs, all the recordings are complete enough to release to evaluators. The CDs are being duplicated now, will take a few days. Artwork for the booklet is being prepped for printing, hopefully in the next week or so. Could not find the classic "Chubby" 2-CD jewel cases that allow for a thick booklet in the middle, had to special-order them online. It's been a long time coming ... I have been working on "The Bluez Projekt" for (no kidding) "Five Long Years" (pun intended). My recording effort, "The Bluez Projekt", is now in a sort of review phase. Early Evaluators are listening to 2 entire CDs full of the blues music I've recorded over the last 5 years. Their feedback, in part, will help me decide which tunes are on the final CD release, as well as any final polishing I might do to a few songs.
I will be ready to send out the Evaluation CDs hopefully in about a week or two. CDs are burned, printed and tested (as much as possible), jewel cases are assembled and the booklet is being printed now.
I would like to get about 6 to 8 more evaluators, so if you know of other
possible well qualified) candidates, please pass the word along to them.
