Profile Information

About Me:
Hi my name is Petra Manuela, I'm here to promote the blues artist I represent Richard Carr from Canada. I handle his bookings here in Québec City.

I'm a people person, love live music, work in the construction industry and love to dance. I have 3 beautiful grown young men, the youngest being 17 years old.

RICHARD CARR

Richard Carr immpressionne.

Rene Malines : France. myspace.com/renemalines VIRUS DE BLUES virusdeblues.free.fr "Hey y'all, listen to Richard's music and tell me this guy's doesn't deserve a worldwide recognition ! "

Steve Arvey : USA myspace.com/stevearvey "You sounded great!! It was great performing with you last week. Thanks!!"

Steve Rowe : CANADA myspace.com/steveroweblues "Richard Carr is an authentic bluesman. He combines his solid understanding of the music with great guitar tone."

You have been so magnanimous in your patience waiting for me to be satisfied with the final production and mix of the CD. I can't thank you enough! Still about 4 weeks out from sending the new CD, maybe the wait will have been worth it seeing as how THIS version has Davey Pattison (GAMMA, Robin Trower) on vocals with me and Pete Thompson (Robin Trower) on Drums for around 9 of the tracks! And Robin's Manager Derek Sutton, along with Davey Pattison, are CO-Producing this one with me! Please send me an updated mailing address to Dave@CrossTown-Band.com at your convenience. I will be back in touch with some one off MP3 or Video files for your enjoynent PRIOR to the sending of the CDs!
Thank you ever so much! You are amazing!!!
Peace Always and All Ways!
Respectfully,

Hello Petra!
Absolutely buried in projects here! BUT!!! I am creating a very special Sampler CD for you that includes songs from 3 CDs I am working on with such incredible musicians as Davey Pattison (on Vocals) and Pete Thompson (on Drums) from the Robin Trower Band, as well as my long time foundation band of John Perry on Bass and Bob Herder on Drums. We three partners in rhyme comprise the bands CrossTown Band (Point Of View) and Dave Michaels Project (Crying Winds, Keeper Of The Portal, Journey, Lands Unknown). With Davey Pattison and Pete Thompson, our band is Davey Pattison and CrossTown and we have 2 albums currently in progress; "Storm On The Horizon" and "The Light". Also, with Davey and Pete, Dave Michaels Project has their 5th album in progress; "Cosmos".
I hope to have a Compilation Sampler CD and Radio One Sheets with a short Bio off to you by the first of next week finally. I had decided to make certain that when i sent THIS package off, it was going to be as current as possible and with the newest recordings and mixes we could release for public radio.
So, from ALL of us here in Sunny Arizona and Southern California, THANK YOU for your continued interest and patience. I hope you feel the wait was worthwhile when you get these CDs in both CDA Audio CD Format as well as 320kbps and 128kbps MP3 format.
Would love to hear what you and your listeners have to say once you get a chance to spin some of the songs up!

Peace Always and All Ways!
Respectfully,
Dave Van Kleeck aka Dave Michaels
and the entire crew and band WAYYY south of the Canadian border!

"Billy Jones proves to be an excellent bluesman in this superb album, which epitimizes his extrodinary guitar playing, borrowing from the likes of such greats as Hendrix, Muddy Waters, and BB King. I'd recommend this to any avid blues listener and I look forward to hearing more from the reclusive Billy Jones."
