That Old Heathkit REALLY Sucked.
You had the most incredible tone, An ES-335 into a non-reverb Fender Delux? I got into vintage and botique pedals a while back and have been trying to remember what you played through, think I remember a Fuzz Face at one time or was it something like a FOX Fuzz Tone, a DOD 250 Overdrive, or an MXR box like a Distortion+, Micro Amp or Dyna Comp?
What ever it was it sounded Good, but compared to the stuff they're making now we didn't know just how Good!
