Phillip Walker has died !

Blues guitarist and singer, Phillip Walker, has died at the age of 73. In addition to his own notable solo work, Walker backed legendary performers such as Etta James, Lowell Fulson and Little Richard. He also toured with zydecogiant Clifton Chenier.Walker grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast, learning from such giants as Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Lightnin’ Hopkins and Lonnie “Guitar Junior” Brooks. ZZ Top, Maroon 5 Added to State Fair Grandstand Lineup

The Kansas State Fair announces more of the lineup for this year's Spring Grandstand acts.
