I am a Musician, and that brought me in contact with a large number of Bluesmen in Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama and all the rest of USA. I was born In Italy. I come from a family rich of music talent. All my maternal uncles, were musicians, and dominated the Italian and European music scene of the 50' & 60', when the Tango and big bands was the mainstream music.
My maternal Greatgrandmother was the out of wedlock child of a Gypsy and a noble from the early 1800, that is where part of my name " Gipsy" come from. I came in the USA in 1983 and lived for short time in Houston Texas, then I met the love of my life Janice (Teesh). Moved to Rosemark TN (the birthplace of Bobby Blue Bland) where Janice and I are living in the farmhouse where she grew up and I started to be interested in the Blues Music scene. I have been talent scouting the Mississppi Delta for the last 7 years. Since then all my friend started calling me "Delta Gypsy". I have played Bass with Bluesmen like,David Lee Durham(R.I.P.), my Brother Willie King (R.I.P), Little Willie Farmer and more. I stay busy doing talent scouting along the Mississippi Delta,Alabama and the South, searching for old lost Bluesmen as well as new young talents, and keeping the Blues Alive. On April 23, 2009 ( after 25 yrs of residency) I became United States Citizen, and I am very proud to have acquired my Citizenship in the same year that Obama became the first African American President.

I remember you now. Yes, Willie is really missed by everyone. He is the reason that I moved to Alabama. I loved him very much as a friend. He was such a loving person to everyone. It is good to hear from you. Willie will always be in my heart.
Welcome to my livebluesworld site. You and I have a lot in common when it comes to the blues. I love it all. I am a mixture of traditional, delta, and roots blues. We have a very good friend in common, Mr. Willie King. Willie is the reason that I am down in Birmingham, Alabama. I have probably seen you at his fest and did not know who I was looking at. I see so many people and I forget names easy.
But, I am glad to be your friend in the blues.
Hi Gypsy, congrats on US citizenship. I am form Hollandale,
Mississippi and met Sam Chatmon r.i.p., in 1977 and had him play 2 house parties in Jackson,MS. Two years ago I
met Stefania Calandra in Memphis at the IBC. I just love the fact that i am connected to the early blues through Sam
and also the international blues scene with Stefania.
I play blues harp, some bass and some drums. But I mainly loveto hear the blues because it is so heartfelt. I visit the
Delta 2-3 times a year. I'll try to look you up next time.
