After participating in different bands, Daniel Raffo initiated his King Size Blues project in 1988, recreating Blues classics, as well as some soul musicians.
In the 1990s, he started to accompany several American musicians, at venues such Buenos Aires Blues Special Club, various theaters and touring to neighboring countries.
He performed as guitarist for Eddie King, Billy Branch, Raful Neal, Phil Guy, Lorenzo Thompson, Little Mc Simmons, Eddie C Campbell, Eddie Kirkland,and as special guest for Lurrie Bell, David Mayers, Larry Mc Cray, John Primer, Carlos Johnson ( he participated in Johnson's album, recorded in Argentina by Wolf Records) and Rick Estrin ( also opening his show in Buenos Aires ). He also has touring Moscu in 2005 as guitarist of Bob Stroger.
Last year he performed as opening show of the American All Stars Band ( Bob Stroger, Bob Margolin and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith ).-
Daniel Raffo was the first Argentinean guitarist to play tribute to BB King since 1992, which he has repeated on occasions.
He is currently working on compositions for his new CD, with pieces authored entirely by him.
Daniel Raffo loves the Blues and all related artists that have contributed to the history of this genre and his instrument. He is also one of the most renowned professors of Blues and its variations in their country.-
