- About Me:
- I'm an Air Force officer living in St Louis. I recently moved from Memphis, which was a great place for a blues lover. But, St Louis has great blues tradition as well. I've always been into jazz and blues. I played all throughout school and was in an Army band for three years right after high school. When I moved to Memphis I took a bigger interest in blues, especially Delta and North Mississippi Hill Country. Two of my favorite places for catching live blues are Red's in Clarksdale and The Center for Southern Folklore in Memphis. There's nothing like a juke joint experience with some strong drinks, blues, and having a good time with locals and adventurous tourists. I'm currently deployed to Northern Iraq for six months. I miss my girl, I miss jukin', I miss those strong drinks... if that isn't the Blues, I don't know what is!
