I am the Chicken and I take video of some of my favorite hangouts and artist. I live in Tampa, but spend a lot of time in my home area of Detroit. Recently I have come across some of the best music jams, artist and some well knowns within the Blues community.
Here is a video of a Blues Jam at Nancy Whiskey in Detroit. For youtube I had to edit it to ten minutes, the original session was over 13 minutes.
If you visit my youtube channel, you will find jam session artist like Jimmy Thackery, to psychobilly Unknown Hinson. I love indie music and believe in supporting the many greats, that are not household names... Go Indie!!!!! www.youtube.com/tampachicken

Claudette Harrell-Manning said… - Thanks my friend. I certainly do know where Nancy Whiskey's is. LZ from Detroit Underground passed a little while ago. There will be a 12 hour 'Celebration of his life' event on Sunday, Nov. 2nd at Nancy Whiskey's. It will be hosted by LZ's former bandmate, CeeCee Collins. I'll drop you a note on Monday and let you know how things went.
