It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of the last great Mississippi Delta bluesmen...we loved you Honeboy Edwards as a father, mentor and friend. your sons will not forget your journeys through the dark years torch bearer, we will protect your legacy !
I wonder whether you will see this for some time, or if at all, but I do so hope you do ! I rarely use social sites so it has taken this long to see your message to me. Are Life and Ilaria treating you well ? I bet so ! There is a new pup in the family, but I regret I see him not enough, perhaps I shall have one here with me before long, but that work thing, at present, does get in the way of idle dreams. Life gives me nothing much to complain of and pleasures a-plenty, but friends are precious and deserve more care, lesson learnt !
So, dear one, for now and probably a little while, take much care and love to you, as always, Jennie xxx
Dear Sweet Sugar-cube, at long last !!
Well, been in and out the dusty bluebells, but what goes round comes round, so here I am ! back at the start !
Now, looks like you have been keeping yourself very busy and the better for that, I expect.
I really should have trotted up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire by now, as I'm off to
the frozen North (of England, that is) for the annual shenanigans that is The Great British Blues Festival. Unfortunately this year, due to the inordinate amount of precipitation fallen upon that green and pleasant land, I am totally letting the side down, by not taking my tent !
Do tell all, very soon,
Much love as always,
