I have a wonderful girlfriend of 15 years. 3 daughters, 1 granddaughter and another that's due in August of 2008. I love music, sports, but what I really love the most is hanging out with my kids. What's really cool about that is they like to hang out with me too. I began my professional career as a teenager in Sarasota, Florida. Music was kind of a "family business" for me, I often performed with my brother "Mike" on bass. From the ages of 13 to 17 I played drums in my brother's band, Works, performing the music of the Beatles, Stones and other British Invasion bands. Pat Ramsey and I met in Tallahassee in 1979 and I joined Crosscut Saw (another band that featured my brother Mike on bass). I remained with Crosscut Saw until 1983, then I performed locally with other bands for a few years. Fate seems to draw me back to performing with Pat on a regular basis. I was the drummer for the Pat Ramsey Band from 1986 to 1992 and then with The Blues Disciples from 1997 to 2001. Now in 2004, I'm once again backing The Blues Disciples. My recording credits include: Crosscut Saw, "Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know", Pat Ramsey & The Blues Disciples, "Live at the Grand"... Blues Disciples, "Live at the Big Bend Blues Bash"... and Coco Robicheaux, "Hoodoo Party"
Favorite Blues Artists and Bands
Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, B.B.King, Albert King, Freddy King, James Brown, Allman Bros, 10 Years After, Rolling Stones, War, Eric Clapton,Axe Barkley, Little Feat, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Gatemouth Brown, Johnny Winter. Love all music !!!

Hi Steve,
I didn't know you were a member here. It's nice to see other local folks in here.

Hey Steve, It's nice to meet you. I spend three months vacationing in Tampa three yearsago. I am currently out of the country teaching English. Like you, I love all music from Pavorotti to Billie Holiday with lots of Mozart to improve my mind.
Hi Steve;
Greetings to a fellow stixman from a U.K. cousin and welcome to
LBW. I was familiar with the Blues Desciples and was sorry to hear about
Pat Ramsey. Hang loose and keep that shuffle tight
Kind regards
