We had a great time at Rotherhithe! Great weather, great bands and we played a storming set, augmented by Damon Butcher on keyboards. Got the audience up and shouting and all the proceeds went to Help For Heroes! See More

SONIC BLUE
SONIC BLUE are a London-based, four piece, blues-rock band. Our set features numbers by Sonny Boy Williamson, John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, Bo Diddley, Howling Wolf and other blues legends, alongside songs by Mick & Keef, Neil Young and Dylan. We like to keep it loose and allow some space to stretch out and let the music breathe.
SONIC BLUE are Steve Brayne on vocal, harp and guitar - ex-Fox, had been playing since the 60s: Tim Renton on guitars and b-vox - also plays in soul band 3AM: Steve Shone on bass and b-vox - ex-Tina Turner, Robert Plant, veteran producer and session player: Richard Marcangelo on drums - ex-Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Desmond Dekker, Afro-Celt Sound System, producer and session player.
We are playing at the Rotherhithe Festival, London, UK on Saturday 24th July.
