I am the keytar player in the BOB MUGGIE movie DEEP BLUES>I have played Beale Street for 25 years and play synth for Big Jack Johnson when he comes in to town.
Give me a call if you ever come out west - 505-710-5100. You got it going on--good stuff. My keyboard player is Bill Zerbe. Bill lived and played in St. Louis for 24 years before moving out here. He played a lot in Memphis. He's also a member of livebluesworld. I don't know if you two ever met, but you might want to check him out, I'm sure you two know a lot of people in common. I spent most of my life in Austin, my hometown, and still get back there a lot. However, we do have a growing blues scene out in Albuquerque/Santa Fe. Bob Corritore has it going on in Phoenix with the Rhythm Room, so we do have something of a western contingent happening out here.
Hello., I collect blues concert posters....Have any to trade or sell? I was in your city and the Delta in May....what a great place...Blues and BBQ...all day and all night...thanks
Thanks Steve. Good for you, living in Memphis. Tell Big Jerry and James Bonner hi for me. Enjoyed playing with them in May. You might show them to two videos of us playing-- the Jimmy Reed medley came out pretty well. Haven't found any email addresses for me to send to them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af0cxpNNNkk&feature=related
