I’m just another human being whos been blessed to perform and share music with others for a few years now. I play guitar, bass, sing, write, and some piano and drums. - (do we play Music or does Music play us?). I’ve been a part of so many recording projects I can’t remember them all.
I’ve traveled many places all over this wonderful world, performing at some of the largest festivals in the world to small parties in peoples backyards, at uplifting spiritual church services to wild crazy parties I can’t even remember. From the tops of campgrounds in clear country mountains, to the heart of da city and funky ghetto hole-in-the-walls.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with famous musicians I really respect, and other intensely talented cats that not too many people have ever heard of before. Fame is all relative- My grandmom said “BB King? I’ve heard of him before...” Talent doesn’t guarantee you success. But hard work, dedication, talent, can open many doors. It’s more important to be content in your own heart & treat others you meet along life’s highway with kindness and respect.
I’ve dug deep into blues and been heavily influenced by alot of blues pioneers I’ve hung with. check alot of them out at www.musicmaker.org. Most of these saints did their music simply for the love of it- the real reasons to make music: to connect people with one another and to spread love, ideas, and feelings through the music.
I’ve traveled and performed in the south, east coast, & mid US, all over Europe, Canada, Carribbean, Brazil, Costa Rica, Australia, and really believe all people are wonderful, and we are all one-
What ever your talent is in this life, there is a reason you have it- you are supposed to share it & leave this world better than the way you found it. Everyone has there own voice and style, and I respect where ever you are coming from, as long as it’s from your heart. Keep spreading the good blues!! peace
