Profile Information

About Me:
I am involved in two songwriting coalitions - one is Fat, Happy and Blue, and the other is Shady Rosy.

Fat, Happy and Blue is a songwriting coalition, based in Toronto, and comprised of Tony Laviola, Louise Peacock and Tony Quarrington. Each member brings their own special musical talent to the table.
On April 23/09 Fat, Happy and Blue completed the recording phase of their first album, Surreal Memphis Blue. On December 1/2009 they released the mastered album on the Internet.

The new album is being promoted on a number of different sites where it has been getting rave reviews. It is receiving airplay in Australia, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, the U.S. and in Canada.

Formed in early 2009, for the express purpose of compiling and arranging songs for their Blues album, Surreal Memphis Blue, Fat, Happy and Blue combines a mix of excellent and seasoned musicianship and songwriting skills with energy and enthusiasm.
The recently released recording Surreal Memphis Blue, was co-produced by Tony Quarrington and Tony Laviola, with production assistance from Louise Peacock. This album has the warm sound of a live recording and makes you feel as though you were in the room with the musicians.

Louise Peacock originally wrote all the songs - lyrics and music. In 2007 she and Tony Laviola began to rework some of them. In 2009 they got together with veteran composer/arranger and multi instrumentalist, Tony Quarrington and they formed Fat, Happy and Blue, and the revamping of the material became serious. The 15 original compositions are fresh and original and showcase the combined writing and arranging skills of the group members.

About Shady Rosy
Shady Rosy is a Canadian songwriting duo comprised of Tony Laviola and Louise Peacock. Tony plays bass and arranged the material, as well as co-writing. Louise writes most of the lyrics and melodies, and sings. Their material ranges between Blues, Country, Folk and just plain singer/songwriter.

In current developments, Tony and Louise created a new song-writing group they call Fat, Happy and Blue. this was created for the purpose of recording a new Blues Cd. this was done in 2009, and the new CD "Surrel Memphis Blue was released December 1/09.

Right back atcha, you sweetheart you! I have a question for ya; I am really proud of the song we did together and wondered if you would mind it being posted here? I have already been called upon from members here to collaborate, remix, master and even do session work and i believe your song is a wonderful example of BOTH our talents! What do ya say?
Would love to do some more with you, too, if you have anything in mind...
Cheers and be well and happy always!
