I just really love the read in your comments by folks who obviously appreciate with the highest degree American Blues Legend Johnny Winter. I feel so appreciative of your work in this matter as well as Paul Nelson being at the right place at the right time for a historically perfect purpose.
Thanks Again for Sharing Everything

Hopefully ala the work he did with Muddy he will get a chance to record some really great blues to cement his legacy. How great would it be if Rick Rubin did a record with Johnny ala his current project with ZZ Top!
Great insight into Johnny via the bus, etc-good writing man.

I've had the pleasure and honor of meeting or playing with many legendary blues musicians over the years including Albert King, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, Etta James, Lowell Fulson etc etc etc but spending time with my two biggest heroes Muddy and BB were as close as I'll ever get to walking with the gods! Both men showed me nothin but love and i'll always be forever grateful for their kindness and hope i can grow old with the same amount of grace and dignity! Yeah i worship my heroes!
I've played Johnny's music at almost every one of the gigs I've played since 1978. I doubt I'll ever get a chance to perform with him, as I had dreamed in my youth, but I get tremendous joy out of playing his music and watching others enjoy it. I hope that in the future he'll be as well respected as Muddy Waters or Wille Dixon.
Thanks for being such a great friend of the blues!
Best Wishes,
Jeff Dale
