Rockman Jackson has been singing and playing piano since the young age of 5 in the church and choir founded by his grand mother Lucy Lanier. He picked up playing the guitar when he was seven and has been amazing audiences with his talents ever since. Billy Joel was Rockmans neighbor in upstate New York. Rockmans music was especially inspired by
Milan Willams Original Founder and member of "The Commodores". Milan attended Tuskeegee institute with Rockman's Cousin.
When The Commodores Where getting started Milan would stay at Rockmans parents house and they would play guitar and perform card tricks. This Experience would be a major influence To Rockman and his music.
Rockman Recently found out that a now deceased cousin of his Mr.Jothan Callins (related through his grand mothers brother) was head of the Birmingham jazz ensemble. Jothan Callins Played with Stevie Wonder, Sun Ra, and Lionel Hampton and many others.
I guess the music is in the blood.
Rockman was Born in upstate New York and has played with several groups The Soul Tempters, Facade Band Sacramento.
Rockman also played with groups in Okinawa Japan while in the U.S. Air force Rockman is now hard at work in his recording studio working with "General Gordon Dewitty" As well as producing other artist
