I have been playing music professionally for 40 years on drums, percussion and vocals, onstage and in studio. It has been my honor to share the stage with Van Wilks, Dave Sebree, David Bromberg, Angela Strehli, WC Clark, Erbie Bowser, TD Bell, The Blues Specialists, Spencer Thomas, Pat Boyack, Jesse Guitar Taylor and others. I have played in such exotic circumstances as drum circles in the West Indies and with Bedouins in the Egyptian Sinai. As of this date, I have played on seven albums. Main musical styles are Blues, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Fusion and Latin. I am never selling my drums, because Willie "Big Eyes" Smith played them at a blues show on St. Thomas where my company was doing sound and light.
Have written, produced, directed and shot popular, award-winning music videos and other music programming. As such, or as crew member, have worked with such greats as Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, Genesis, Johnny Cash, Carole King, Jerry Jeff Walker, Rusty Weir, David Allen Coe, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Leon Russell, Rusty Wright Band, Trampled Under Foot, Zac Harmon, Janiva Magness and countless others.
Favorite Blues Artists and Bands
Van Wilks, Dave Sebree, Keb Mo, Kim Wilson, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Ray Charles, Count Basie, The Blues Brothers, Hubert Sumlin, Buddy Guy, Angela Strehli, John Lee Hooker, Carolyn Wonderland, Pinetop Perkins, Michael Burks, Dave Gerard & Groove Thang, Trampled Under Foot, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaghan...
Hey Paul, Been a while, Just wondering what you thought of the Rusty Wright Band at the St Johns Blues fest. Was I right? I understand they did "Could'nt Stand the Weather", did Rusty Rock It?
Hope you enjoyed them, I think they'll be a hit!

Next time we'll make sure there's an opportunity to jam together!
Thanks so much for your kind words. The exceptional crew made all the difference in the world in our performance. It truly was a wonderful evening and we had a great time performing and meeting people. We couldn't believe the number of people we met that night who are from Michigan!
Paul, it was a real pleasure meeting you and working with you in St. John. We wish we'd had more time to hang out. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. It was a great experience and we had a blast playing the festival.

Next time you're in Oz, you make sure you look me up and we will "stick" together, it'd be a lot of fun.
Super! We'll look forward to meeting you then in March. We're looking forward to having a great time. We just filmed a concert in September for release on DVD - still in the process of editing since we were also in the midst of recording a new cd.
Happy holidays to you and yours, Paul. See you in St. John!
Can't agree more Paul especially when the backbone is connected
to the kneebone and then to the anklebone etc. etc.

Hi Paul;
Like to welcome a fellow " sticksman " to LBW
we tend to be scarce on the ground on most music sites I travel.
Keep the rhythm going my friend.
