Spend Friday the 13th with Chicago "Delta Crush" guitarist Chainsaw Dupont, who celebrates his August 13 birthday on the actual day of the week he was born, "under a bad sign", at the North Shore's most comfortable live music venue, Gabe's Backstage Lounge, 214 Green Bay Road, in Highwood. Advance reserved tickets include a reserved seat at intimate tables near the the stage.
Tix ($12)also include an autographed copy of the brand-new Chainsaw poster, a piece of birthday cake, and a $5 CD discount coupon. Doors open at 8PM; a limited number of unreserved tickets will also be on sale.

The party begins at 9PM with a special 30-minute acoustic mini-set that features Dupont paying tribute to his heroes as well as performing his own originals, in an intimate solo setting. There will also be a drawing to win copies of Dupont's 2 brand-new live CDs, "Acoustifed/Electrified", and "The Real Guitar Hero". Every advance reserved ticket includes a coupon for $5 off any CD purchase. One lucky drawing winner will receive copies of the 2 CDs. At 10PM Chainsaw takes the stage with the Blues Warriors, for an "Electrified" set.
Dupont recently released the two live CDs, which neatly summarize his "Blues Street Trilogy", a series of 3 CDs released over a 4-year period, celebrating the blues styles of Chicago, New Orleans, and Memphis.
