Me with My Friend Susan @ Teddy's Juke Joint, Zachary, LA
Susan and I posing for the camera. Her brother in law is the owner of Teddy's Juke Joint in Zachary, LA. I believe it's really the only "REAL" blues jook joint around in our state. You walk in it's everything a jook joint is that you have ever read about or seen in films.
I have seen Gregg Wright, Marcia Ball, Nelsen Adelard, Lil Dave Thompson, Mem Shannon, Kenny Neal, Eden Brent, Sean Carney, Big Al & The Heavyweights featuring Elvin Killerbee, Phil Guy, Larry Garner and I have drawn a blank on some of the other bluesmen and women who have performed on Teddy's stage.
Good southern food, good service, good people and most of all OVER the TOP Blues Baby!!

I'm actually soliciting some of the West Coast Blues Festivals for work this year. I've been promoting my last CD wherever I can. So far I've received some real nice reviews. I have quite a bit of "Shameless Self Promotion" on my website.www.tjsullivanmusic.com With the economy the way it is, I've started doing solo & duo work as well as the band thing. These days are so Strange. The Good thing is that when people are faced with alot of Shit, they ultimately are forced to be more Creative. I believe this Plays well for the Blues!
