The Octavia Blues Band performs original, traditional, and high energy blues music at shows, festivals and venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Octavia is noted for her outstanding harmonica style, sultry powerful vocals, and song writing skills. The Octavia Blues Band is a tight four piece group consisting of Octavia on harmonica, vocals, and rhythm guitar, Bill Wasch on lead guitar and vocals, Jay Kirssin on bass, and Jack Covert on drums and vocals.
“Octavia’s gift at the art of the harmonica certainly doesn’t go unnoticed”, says Jeremiah Eisley of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette. “She has already been noted as Top of the List of the very few female harmonica players in the blues world.”
