- Salty's (Mike)hard blowing licks and unique timing provide harmonica flavor enjoyed by all. Salty learned his chops on bands such as J. Geils, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, William Clark, Pat Ramsey, Lee Oscar as well as other artists. Opening or performing with such artists as Herbie Mann, Spyro Gyra, Atlanta Rhythym Section, Starship, Billy Dean, Terry Clark, Tom Gribbon, T.C. Carr, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Lawrence, Confederate Railroad, Billy Dean, Tracy Byrd, Joe Nichols, Lee Ann Womack, Mark Collie, Jeanie Sealy, Janie Fricke and many more.
Salty has the passion, energy and experience for a memorable funky blues swing show.
SALTY HAS ALSO PERFORMED WITH ALMOST EVERY WORKING MUSICIAN IN THE BIG BEND AREA OF FLORIDA. SALTY FORMED THE FIRST BAND (FLORIDA BAND), EVER TO PERFORM OUTSIDE AT BULLWINKLE'S SALOON (A TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA NITELIFE LANDMARK). PERFORMING WITH LOCALS SUCH AS BILLY DEAN, JOHN KURZWEG, PAT RAMSEY, BILL PANDOLPHY, JON COPPS, DEL SUGGS, HOMEWARD ANGEL, PAM LAWS, BILL WHARTON, RAY WILEY, MIKE ANDREWS AS WELL AS WITH LOCAL LEGENDARY BANDS HUTCH & HOSS, TOM & THE CATS, SLAPSTICK, CROSSCUT SAW, CROOKED SHOOZ, TALLAHASSEE BAND, AND MANY MORE.

Kool Breeze~ said… - I did Trouble cut this morning on my Morning Breeze and blues which is 80 % electric blues. I agree that the title cut would be great for the Bike Nite set I plan on doing that and one more cut on tues show, John just sent me the rest of the CD so I will pick from one of those. This is a great site, the people and wealth of information here, I am fairly new myself... but feel like home already.
