- About Me:
- In the picture, that's me on the left, with my hero John Mayall taken in Springfield, Missouri, in 2001 during the "Along For The Ride" CD tour. I've been a Blues 'nut' since going to my first live concert in 1968 - which consisted of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and supported by the original Fleetwood Mac. Been a convert ever since.
I am not a musician, nor is my good friend Roger, so our contribution is to promote local Australian acts, sell their products and find them gigs through True Blue Records and True Blue Promotions. We've been going for the past four years and have had the pleasure of promoting some fantastic acts, both local, national and international. Looking forward to 2009 and winding up the activity a bit more, which has gone into a bit of a lull after our regular venue was closed for major renovations.

Richie and Gabby has been here, they arrived wednesday and we went to town for a coupla beers, then Thursdayt they went to Sweden for visiting a friend, they came back Sunday and we had our first gig at my friends venue, that was a magic gig, never heard his songs and he is tuning his guitar in open D sus4, and I couldnt follow his cords, but I have ears and they worked really hard :-) we got two extra gigs at the same place, monday was not much people out, tuesday was better and we got peolpe in good mood. Now his on his way to Denmark, what a great guy and good musician, Gabby was fantastic too. we played like we had played together for years. I did recorded monday gig on a video and will make a DVD. Looking forward to see you in September.

I told my wife that you had a friends wife from Fredrikstad.
She told me that two of her school mates went down under and one was married to an Australian. She dont remember her name but I wount be surprised if the one is the same as my wife knows :-)
