Blue Summer Tour
The Blue Summer Tour has kicked off, and with the posters at the printers, I'm being given more and more opportunities to perform anound Northen Michigan, and beyond.... second publishing??? This week's Norhtern Express Magazine just published a featured article about me by Rick Coates, and that has added some ringing to the phones! Yesterday's Cancer Benefit "Relay for Life" at the Alba-Mancelona Concord School was great. Shared the stage with Musican friends, Kelly Shively, Gordon Howie, Pam Luce and Jim Newton. I love positive experiences and this was one of them! Tonight, my trio hits Traverse City @ Lil Bo's Pub and Grill, on Front Street, and tomorrow, I'm over to Roscommon to do the Gospel Blues "Mother's Day" Brunch at Forest Dunes. Next week, a live spot on Eagle 101, a mid-day concert, Friday @ the Jordan River National Fish Hatchery for their Ground Breaking event then on to Boyne City's newest Restaurant "The B. B. Q" for performances Friday and Saturday night. Sunday morning will find me leading Worship at Pathway Community Church in Mancelona, and then rushing over to Atlanta MI for a 2 pm Concert at North Woods Coffee House. The remainder of the month includes trips to the UP for the Falling Rock Cafe' in Munising, and Chamberlin's in Curtis as well as Roscommon's Forest Dunes.
Just trying to keep busy... and still trying work in recording time.... my oh my!

As the economy takes larger bites from the local live Entertainment scene, I find a bit more free time for other endeavors. One such endeavor is dance. Several years ago I was part of the Petoskey Chapter of USA Dance, and was very active in the club working my way into the President’s position. With that came the responsibility of seeing that regular dance classes were held and finding and keeping local instructors…

Hello everyone!
Wow what a great year so far! The new Worship CD is almost ready to send to the publisher. I'll have it available by the end of July. It's a mix of Gospel, Gospel Blues and Contemporary Chirstian music.
Then I begin the next regular CD. I have far too many new songs for this new CD, and will have to trim a few away once I get into the final stages, but the plan is for a mix of soft Rock, Folk and Blues, heavy on the BLUES.
WHAT I NEED ARE…

2009, is nearly at an end. A year of discovery, excitement, and pain. Musical opportunities skyrocketed, after the trip to Memphis in February, and have been continuing through this year and into the next. Collaborations with other musicians have been numerous and very pleasurable, challenging growth and understanding among all. I have been blessed at every turn, and those who have offered their support are truly cherished! I’m looking forward to 2010, and wondering if it will be the…

I'm Excited for this coming Friday. I've had this Solo gig on the books for months at Short's Brewing in Bellaire MI, and like all my Solo's there I was totally prepared to go it alone and have a great time with a great crowd. However, last Saturday in Flint, while judging the Big Ticket Tour line up of 12 Bands at the Cornerstone, the creative juices started flowing in another direction. Instead of just another Solo performance, I wanted to make it a show, so within the last few days I have…
