The Blues Corner is a radio program of Blues music transmitting from Havana, Cuba on Habanaradio station. Narrated by Miguel de Oca, a Blues musician, is now transmitted to all by internet, making Blues history. The music and the musicians have transformed the Blues in our own lives. The broadcast offers the roots of the Blues to all Cubans on and off the island, as well as anyone on the planet interested in the propagation and promotion of Blues music. Artists such as Son House, Charlie Patton, John Lee Hooker, Taj Mahal are played. Even Tommy Castro!!! La Esquina del Blues is broadcast each Sunday at 9:00pm (Eastern Time).
