"I've always said that gospel music mainly tells a story about salvation later on, while blues music is about salvation here and now. Kim has combined the two.
When you sing you pray twice; and when you sing your own song you pray thrice. Kim's songs are her pra…

I liked your version of Love in Vain. You've got to be good to go that slow! I'll try to catch you around town sometime. Good luck at the release party!
Thanks for the friendship. Like your stuff and the Gospel feel. Really cool.

thanks for the comments,it is only my opinion ,but I think the blues following in Australia is pretty small, decent gigs are few and far between, especially if you are over 40.Most of the gigs in Adelaide are for young party cover bands.agents do not book blues bands.I only returned to Australia 18 months ago after being in Scotalnd for the past 20 years. In the eighties I was based in Sydney, gigged 6 nights a week, but also played Irish/Scots and country rock.I wont be gigging for a few months as I am waiting for a hip replacement. But from what I have seen there isnt a lot out there anyway.
Hope someone can prove me wrong. What is your gig scene like.?
it has ever been thus!!
