About Me:

Harmonica, slide guitar and vocals, playing “nothin’ but the blues” for over 40 years; learned blues harp from James Cotton, Jr. Wells, and Louis Myers; and slide guitar from Hound Dog Taylor and Luther Tucker. After fronting a band in the 60’s I had the opportunity to sit in with or play alongside artists including The Aces, Dave Alexander, Freddie Roulette, Hound Dog Taylor, Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Johnny “Guitar” Knox, Kenny "Blue" Ray, L.C. ‘Good Rockin’ Robinson, Lowell Fulsom, Luther Tucker, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, and Sunnyland Slim. My harp playing reflects the style and tone of my musical influences – Little Walter, Big Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Jr. Wells.
