I was born as a child at a young age. When still a baby I was kidnapped by a Southern family who lived on the South Side of Chicago . I was held captive and forced to play the blues for food. I learned well! This was a vary hard time having to deny my birth right to play songs like 'How Much Is That Doogie In The Window', 'The Hills Are Alive With Music' and "Love Letters In The Sand'. My first words were Hoochie Coochie can you imagine teaching a baby words like that? They were kind enough to give me a old beat up guitar that I buried my sorrow into,learning all I could. They drove me mad playing Holwin Wolf, Muddy Waters and so many others over and over till it filled every fiber of my body, I was dragged to Southern Baptist church on Sunday morning to hear the gospel music and in the afternoon I was forced to sit and watch all the Blues musicians on Maxwell St. I could no longer resist and before I new what had happened I stopped being a Blues Chil had become a Blues Man!
Hi Ken ;
