- I am based in Bristol ( U.K.) and have been playing the drums since 1963
Always a blues player , I am the original " Groundhogs " drummer , we have backed John Lee Hooker on a number of occasions , played with
Little Walter, Champion Jack Dupree amongst many others , supported
the " Rolling Stones " on tour , Canned Heat and John Mayall in Europe
Appeared in the feature film " Hearts of Fire " which starred Bob Dylan,
achieved gold record status in the U.K. with the album " Split " which
reached no.5 in the album chart and stayed continuously in the top 50 for
27 straight weeks. The two album releases on either side of that release
also made the album chart top 10.

- All the classics, Hooker,Wolf & Muddy Waters , all the earlier artists and
anyone brave enough to be a blues artist at any time.

I thought that he had just about got it together again after his stroke a few years back. How you doing.
