About Me:
What do you get when you combine; a handful of soul, a shake of blues, a pinch of rock, and a touch of jazz, all mixed in with a vibe that will linger eternally in your mind? You get KNiKi, a Perth born and bred singer, who portrays a rush of enchanting, delectable musical talent.
Having a love of the music art form, KNiKi started singing at 14. At 20, she started writing her own music, and formed a garage band called, Tempus.
At 24, KNiKi started co-writing with singer/songwriter Andy James Court. For the next three years, she stepped into a world of priceless musical discovery, whilst experimenting with various music styles, writing and refining songs that would feature on her 2003 released, debut album, ‘Stained.’
Album number two, ‘Just,’ was released in 2008, and proudly showcases KNiKi’s astounding vocal range, and legendary guitarist, John Meyer’s, influential ability. With a combination of incomparable talent in KNiKi and Meyer, and supported by some of the best West Australian players, the product is a blues album like no other.
Album number three, ‘Dead On’ is one that was recorded with the remarkable singer/guitarist Mike Beale. Kniki and Mike’s flair merge together with perfection and zeal. “Mike’s been a great mentor and teacher whilst on tour, and recording. He has helped me develop. He has allowed and encouraged me to be myself - an individual, instead of trying to mould me into something he wants,” explains Kniki. Through a love of music and joint performing passion, an instant, magical connection between the two, was born; one that has allowed for creation of such mind blowing material on this new album, and the many live performances.
The new album is filled with a combination of experiences of the lives of both Kniki and Mike and the people they love. “A lot of them are about living and loving and being a human being,” states Kniki. The songs you will heed to are a result of late nights, sweat, tears and the supremacy of a relationship between two of the country’s finest musically artistic individuals.
‘Dead On’ is delivered to you with visceral sounds that bleed power and fervour, mixed in with hope and a measure of trust that will leave all senses satisfied.
Keeping that musical fire burning, Kniki has been on the road extensively in 2009/10. Being on the road brings experiences like nothing else can remotely provide. “I like the new experiences I get to have…and the new places I get to see,” explains Kniki. “I like the adventures that don’t always go to plan…I like sharing the music I write with people that haven’t heard it. I like meeting new people that love music and love what I do.” Kniki will continue seducing listeners with a voice and a brash and sassy stage presence that is known to create an emotional atom bomb, leaving audiences from one end of Australia to the other, caressed aurally, and exploding with a desire for more.

2009/2010 has provided KNiKi with the opportunity to play at an array of national and international music festivals, including:
• The Australian Blues Music Festival, NSW 2009
• Blues on Broadbeach, QLD 2009/2010
• The Toyota Gympie Muster, QLD 2009
• The Bridgetown Blues Festival, WA 2009
• Phuket International Blues Festival, Thailand 2009/2010
• The Himalayan Blues Festival 2009
• Forth Valley Blues Festival 2010
• Bay of Islands blues Festival, New Zealand 2010
With vocal cords that are packed with rustic roar, angelic pitch, and immense diversity, KNiKi will take you on a rollercoaster ride of life and emotions. Close your eyes... listen...feel, and you will laugh, cry, believe, and discover!

Here is that link i told you about. "Buried Alive In The Blues", Nick Gravinites.

Big Brother And The Holding Company also did this as one of the more noted.

Listened to The CD when i returned home. Very rare these days to pick up an Album and find it difficult to pic out any one favorite.Kniki, Mike. The Album is by far one of the most well produced i have had the pleasure listening to.
So much so i am featuring it in my Friday night "Powerhouse Show" The Acoustic side of the Album i will feature in my Sunday Show.

Some are already asking where they can get a copy, let me know.
