Profile Information

About Me:
I'm a professional musician and play Saxophone, Steel Guitar, Dobro & Flute. Was the Horn Section Leader with Percy Sledge on Dec 19, 2009. Session leader and Co-producer with Stella Parton on Adam Fisher's CD project that was picked up by Lofton Creek Records. Played Steel Guitar on an Neo Soul artist from Atlanta by the name of Angel Grant. Had the pleasure of playing Sax on TG Sheppard's newest project "19 Nashville Friends" the link to see the video of the making of this project is, check it out! Played Sax on Nokie Edwards last CD project, Nokie is otherwise known best for being the band leader and lead guitar player for the Ventures("Pipline" "Walk Don't Run" "Wipeout"),of course Nokie sounded great! Played sax on DJ Fontana's new project, BTW, DJ played drums for a guy by the name of Elvis! Worked on a project for Buddy Hyatt that featured a couple of solos by Steve Lukather, the guitarist with the group "TOTO." One of the best sessions I played Sax on was a session for Jack Clement that featured Louis Armstrong as the singer, these were tracks that Jack had cut on Louis before he died. I worked on T.G. Sheppard's last CD project entitled "Timeless" which features myself playing with Wayne Jackson (Memphis horns). Played Sax for Hank Williams, Jr., on the "Lone Wolf Tour" ( and lived!). Playing sax and steel guitar with a 23 piece big band called "Radio Daze," the band web site is: I also do quite a bit of video and TV work in and around Nashville & Atlanta. Should you be able to use me for any of your projects please don't hesitate to send me a message hey, it's what I do it's my day job and I love it!

This years SUMMER NAMM SHOW 2009held at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER was a rousing success, I feel. The company I represent demonstrated their high quality line of instruments. Some major vendors where absent as in Peavy, Gibson and Fender, but hey, made room for the rest to sell and party, sell & party we did!

Our booth was #1248 with the whole Morrell crew from Bristol, TN and the awesome instruments. The performances on Lap Steel and Dobro… Continue

Hi John,
It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, what a wonderful, gifted musician you are. I hope I get a chance to make some music with you some day. (Sooner than later) Please give my best to Wayne Jackson - he might know this already but Richard Cousins is back with Robert Cray.
