- About Me:
- I've been attracted to blues based music ever since I was able to choose what I could listen to, started playing guitar and bass in the late sixties and have played professionally since the mid seventies. I was a professional tattooist for 25 plus years and met many interesting folks, including a certain gent from Texas who also would usually be seen playing a Firebird.
I suppose I took the back door into the blues, starting with rock bands and bit by bit digging back through R&R, Chicago blues, diggin' the backtrail over a period of time till winding up at Country Blues and artists like Charley Patton, Blind Blake and oh so many more. There were many moments of joyous discovery along the way, with music as diverse as the composers. One late, loaded night with myself and a good buddy listening thru both Robert Johnson albums sticks out in my mind- truly spooky and evocative stuff. The more I listen the more great music I discover out there. Looking forward to trying to upload some of my own recordings soon. Keep a cruisin' and bluesin'. More to come.

Ken Pustelnik said… - Hi Jake just added you to friends list , yes we have toured the States , first
one in 1972 , toured and played one off gigs on that first tour with , Edgar
Winter, Humble Pie , Black Oak Arkansas , Black Sabbath , Alice Cooper ,
played the Pocono Festival that year and the 72 Atlanta Festival and a whole
bunch of gigs on our own.
