Hi Hairy Larry,
You are one of my closest friends.
Here is my wish for the very best to you and all my LiveBluesWorld friends as we take the music of our heritage into 2009 and the 21st century.
It's an honor to be on this journey with you. ..and a pleasure to be your friend. Thank you for allowing me to be a member of the community.

Hi Larry, Id be glad to help.
Do you have have a webcam? I could give you some on- line help in real time.
Finding the right reed is the hard part. Try Rico Royal no. 1/2 and 2 to start with if you haven't played for a long time. Soak them for about fifteen minutes not much more. Let me know how its going.

You mite want to take it to a shop to make sure there is no leeks. So you feel confidence in the instrument.
Thank you for 'Hard Times'! I've been thinking that I was having the hardest times ... but your song put me out of that mood.. Made me realize that what I'm worrying about ain't a problem - not one that won't pass as other problems have passed in the "past" :) "Passed in the Past" - I like that ... sorry for the slight diversion there, but if I can think that way again - I have you and your music to thank for that, You're a real gem Larry!
Jim - not blue anymore - and playing them happy Blues tonight :)
Hi Larry!
Thanks for the invite! Ahhh yes... the Greyhound bus station in downtown Louisville... one of the 'Ville's hottest blues venues! One of my personal faves!
