Hey Charley, a little taste from our music. If you like it there is more to hear at my site and I would like to be your friend. If it's not your taste I am sorry to have taken your time. Much respect. Grandpa_Erik
Thanks Barb. The band name actually fits us since we are a biker band and Christian in our orientation. The saying "on a wing and a prayer" actually came from WWII airplane pilots when they went on a mission and weren't sure…
Hi Charley--I like the name of your band :-). Thanks for the message. Yes, does sound like we have some of the same influences, and espicially the Master... Keep playing, sharing, giving and enjoying Life!

Hello Barb- sounds like a lot of your influences are the same as mine, especially the early Grand Funk sound. Probably the tightest 3 piece band of that era, and when they added Craig Frost on keyboards later on, just got better. Like so many bands…
Really like your style and the fact that you use your talent for God. I loved it when you and Johnnie Red Latham teamed up for the Biker Sundays in Greenville TX a few years ago. You 2 guys really jammed and it is rare to see 2 front-men that work…

I play in a band called the Wing and a Prayer Band, part of the King's Kruizers CMA motorcycle ministry. We play rock and blues based music and minister primarily to the motorcycle and biker community. Self-taught guitar picker, been playing since I was 14. I am probably the "cheatinest" guitar player around, I have very short, fat fingers and have had to learn to cheat to play a lot of chords, but I love to play. I never would have thought at 53 I would still enjoy playing "out", but it is a blast everytime out. Probably the highlight for me so far is when our band was asked to provide music for the CMA biker services on The Strand at the Lone Star Motorcylcle Rally in Nov. 2007 (before Hurricane Ike devestated the island). It was a great experience and led to us doing the CMA service at the ROT in Austin last year. Hopefully we touched a few and played a part somehow in someone getting their life right with our maker and savior, Jesus Christ. What a blessing that would be!
