- Sweeping and charismatic, Gianfranco Rizzo is without a doubt one of the more representative voices of the Apulian musical scene. From always gotten passionate of the Blues, Gianfranco, with its black voice, warm and powerful, has many fans in all the Puglia. After the successes with the Crossfire, the “GIANFRANCO Rizzo Blues band”, is one born new formation in order to express the soul in evocative atmospheres of the pub. With he in this adventure Marco Ancona, Ruggero Gallo and Paolo Provenzano of the “Bludivindia” and Paky “Hammond” Leo of the Crossfire. A band that it is literally depopulating in all its concerts, always turning out always much demand from the public and the organizers of the live. Merit of their strong personality, of the ability to know itself to transmit to the public the strong emotions that the Soul and Blues can give, of the great love for this evocative musical kind. The attempt of the “Gianfranco Rizzo Soul band”, that it is that one to carry the soul in the pub, to make to feel to the listener all loads emotional that this music encloses, aiming a lot at the immediacy. Gianfranco Rizzo has participated to the “National Harmonic Blues award” in Rome 1th and 2nd December 2001 with some of the best ones harmonicas bluesman than national reputation. He has participated to two editions of the “Festival Blues of Brindisi city” and to the semiends for “Pistoia Blues 2003”. Jam session with Arthur Miles and Sharrie Williams.
