I use a Chrome slide because I like the way the metal interacts with the electronics in the pickups...

Glass is nice also

ths slide playing on that tune is with my Cream Strat with Fender " Jeff Beck Hot Noiseless" pickups...
I am a Devoted student of Duane Allman AND Ry Cooder on the slide so I also combine them with Muddy & Johnny Winter to get my style
