A London-based vocalist / songwriter, .I’d like to say I started out as an international spy or playgirl, or a cat burglar, but that just wouldn’t be true. Paris-born, as a child I discovered Elvis, to the horror of my jazz-loving dad. Since then I have been collecting jazz, blues, exotica, lounge and Latin everything, have sang, played harmonica and rhythm guitars in various combinations and styles, from gypsy blues to jazz, rockabilly and even French chanson at times. In London, where I now live, I reissue vintage jazz albums and create compilations like the Leopard Lounge series, People Get Ready, etc) for record labels and sometimes DJ. I like writing my own material, as well as covering others, hopefully bringing something new to the originals.
