About Me:: In 1970, after about 6 years of playing guitar, harmonica and singing, I quit the day job, played about 7000 blues and roots gigs. Now I am getting on a bit, but still get in a 100 or so gigs, mostly local with a few road trips when I can. Can't afford to take a band anymore, so I do mostly solo and duo on the road.

Favorite Blues Artists and Bands: The usuals Muddy, the Wolf, both Walters, both Sonny Boys, James Cotton, Son House, Gary Davis, John Hurt, Bukka White, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee, Ledbelly, Johnny Adams, James Booker, Otis Spann,
Otis Rush, J B Hutto and others...
