Don worked at Media Sound Recording Studios in Manhattan as an assistant engineer in the early 80's with Marcus Miller, Miles Davis, Steve Jordan, The Ramones etc. Don played around the Boston and New York blues circuits during the 80's and 90's at Harpers Ferry, Johnny D's, CBGB's, The Bitter End, The Channel, TT The bears, The Middle East etc. Moving to Maine in 2000 Don started The Don Brewer Blues Project with Marc Perez and Ronnie Arsenault. The Don Brewer Blues Project recorded "Voodoo Soul Blues" in 2005 which received airplay from Chicago to Paris. in 2006 The Don brewer Blues Project appeared on the NBC tv show 207 and played out constantly. Don played in the Tennessee Williams Lost Plays at the 13th st. Rep Theatre in New York City in 2008.
