- About Me:
- Aint too good on computer. Play blues, country blues, travel around a bit while doing it. Played all over the place since I was 12 or 13. Now am a old guy and still play. Sometimes outside in good weather or if too hungry. Play some good places too and BBQ's, pig pickings, Family Reunions, Festivals and such. Also play at some society things in Marriott in Arlinton VA and hotels in Washinton DC. They like us pretty good and have us back. Playing in Dallas area in November for five days at places what I don't know.
Marilyn, the daughter of my brother what died plays with me and sings too. She plays harp and is a good helper. Black people and white people both like us and hire us. Also because we come pretty cheap.
I dont have our own comuter and use the one at the libarry up the road when we can. Marilyn is beter at it than me. See our blob which is on the inner web www.docstevens.blogspot.com I do not write it. Tondeleo Lee Thomas who is from England and comes here with his work write it for us.

Landon Spradlin said… - Thanks Doc. We have a small church going in Gretna and they are all behind my blues playing. I do some secular stuff too....but I always end the concert with the gospel. We are taking a band to Memphis in February to compete in the IBC. Hopefully, we'll be able to make some contacts there and go in some bigger doors and touch more people. His Will be done!!

- Yo Doc...Gretna is in the part of VA known as Southside VA. If you look at the triangle of VA......and then follow the bottom border to the halfway point (right around Danville VA)....then Gretna is 30 mile North of Danville. Thanks for the friendship and hope to hook up sometime. Peace Out...
