About Me:
Obsession and Passion about something, can be a good thang!!!

I design and manufacture the worlds first and only true family of hybrid guitar slides. Offering a whole new universe of tonal possibilities to those searching for the tones in their hearts and heads.
I love what I do and so do a growing family of slide players...I'm very blessed and desire all that want more from their slides and tone bars to seek out this wonderful family of unique hand crafted slides! I am truly a man on a get these slides into the hands of anyone that is tired of the same old same and is motivated to look somewhere new.

My second passion has always been connected to radio...I've been either playing in bands or working as a DJ on radio, and sometimes both!! I've been involved in music all my life, radio for about 38 years and a guitar player since I was 17 years old. You can check out my most current offering on radio at My show is called Sonic Gumbo and airs every Saturday from 3-6 pm MST. It offers the best in Blues, Funk, Jam, Soul, Rock and Organic Boogie!! We're Streaming from the KHEN site so no matter where you're located you'll be able to check it out.

My third greatest love is FOOD!!! I love to cook and a perfect world, I'd be runnin' a BBQ House with one hell of a stage for constant LIVE JAMS, and simulcast it through the in house radio station...FOOD, MUSIC and don't get better then that!!!

And last but not least is my long time obsession with "Off the Wall" Sci-Fi from the '50s and '60s. You can really see the Atomic Nightmare mentality in both the American and the Japanese (Toho) stuff! At that same time there were some very cool TV shows coming out of Japan like Starman and Prince of Space and all the different "Giant Robot" series that came out in the '60s. And you gotta love all those low budget American / Mexican and Euro Monster movies!! So scary they're... FUNNY!!! The Best are the ones with the real bad vocal dubbing, done after the fact...looks like bad "Clutch Cargo" episodes, you know?
Favorite Blues Artists and Bands (Please list at least a few...we use this question to weed out spammers)
All the RMSC family of sliders plus:
Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, Leslie West,
Billy Gibbons, Sonny Landreth, Dave Gilmore, Les Paul
Tommy Bolin, Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Steve Hillage
Joe Walsh/ James Gang Era, Mile Davis, John Coltrain
Jimmy Page, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, Albert King
Joe Pass, Pete Carr, Al DiMeola, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin
and the list goes on...

Thank ya kind Sir! Yes indeed, our glassblower who jumped ship back in '07 has sorted all of his issues and is back in the saddle on a permanent basis - the glass tubes he's recently sent me are just INCREDIBLE.....i'll make sure a few get over 'Salida-way' when the dust settles in the New Year!

Warmest regards Doc - speak soon Bro!

Hey Doc - Great to catch up with you Brother & thanks for the initial invite place to meet & talk blues with like-minded folks.

Busy as usual over here with the glass stuff - now hoping for a little 'downtime' to remind my family who i am....after several weeks of 24/7 working it sure can take it's toll :D.

Things look great for you Bro - fantastic to see sliders spreading the word! Take care & we'll speak again in the New Year.

With warmest regards, and Happy Holidays!

Ah yes, my mother is so proud. Putting another RMS to the test! Thanks for the spot light man. Think of a venue in your town and any other ones you think I should hit up to play. Thinking in March.

Those Alligator All Stars videos are great. They get together a couple of times a month. They've been doing it for years, who's ever in town comes and plays. No egos just great music. Albert is
so happy about being nominated for song of the year, it was just a matter of time. Was suppose see Todd tonight (he's playing in Manhattan) but we had a storm and the roads are a mess. I see that Lil Cliff sent you a message(I saw them last night). Real good band and great guys.

Happy holidays and thanks for everything.
