I am a guitar player, a singer and I write my own songs. I am professionally working since 1979. I have been part of many well known Italian bands such as Mean Mistreater Chicago Blues Band, The Blues Shakers and Model T Boogie, and I am leading the Blues Gang since 1989.
I kept on working with Phil Guy in 1987, and I did it until Phil' s death in 2008.
I have had many other cooperations (Johnny Copeland, Luther Allison, Albert Collins,
Deborah Coleman, Delores Scott, Deitra Farr among others)
I use to go around playing in Europe (France, Spain and Switzerland mainly) and I have visited
many times US, playing in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and New York State.
In May, 2007, I have been the first Italian blues musician to play in Africa, with a series of shows
in Melilla.
On June 7th, 2007 I have played the Chicago Blues Fest as part of Phil Guy' s Chicago Machine.
I have recorded two LPs with Model T Boogie (edited in 1986 and 1989), one CD with Phil Guy (Working Together, 1999) and two with The Blues Gang (I don' t want 2 lose, 1998, and Searchin for Gold, 2003). Many of my songs are included into compilations, last to be published has been Rack of Blues (2006), edited by the well known American Blues Magazine Big City Rhythm & Blues.
Lonesome Blues (2007), is the first official video for an Italian Blues band, and it uses as soundtrack songs taken from Searchin for Gold.
I teach Blues Guitar at the Centro Jazz Torino (the main music school in town) since 1987.
